Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to individuals across the lifespan
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to coordinate care and support patient goals
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in the electronic health record in a timely and thorough manner
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing safety
- Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent graduate degree)
- Massachusetts SLP license required or eligible
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or working toward certification
- Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/contract setting with varied caseloads
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policies
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in standardized and informal assessment techniques
- Experience with treatment planning for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia
- Proficient documentation and progress tracking in EHR systems
- Ability to coach families and caregivers with clear, practical strategies
- Strong clinical reasoning, organization, and caseload management
