Shift Type: Monday-Friday, clinic hours 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating day shifts with three early shifts 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM and two late shifts 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (no weekends or holidays), day shift
Hours per Week: 30
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, outcomes-driven outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services in a 1:1 hands-on environment
- Document thoroughly and timely using the clinic’s web-based EMR to ensure compliance and continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education to empower recovery and long-term function
- Perform orthopedic manual therapy and post-operative rehabilitation for general and total joint patients
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in community outreach and patient education events to promote health and clinic services
- Monitor caseloads and support department compliance and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Current Maryland state licensure in Physical Therapy or appropriate PTA licensure as required
- Basic Life Support (AHA) certification
- One year of outpatient experience preferred; new graduates with strong orthopedic clinicals will be considered
- Demonstrated orthopedic and manual therapy skills or strong orthopedic clinical education
- Strong flexibility, time management, leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, one-on-one care and excellent customer service
Education
- Degree from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy or physical therapist assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on manual therapy techniques for musculoskeletal conditions
- Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and post-operative joint care
- Proficient EMR documentation and compliance practices
- Ability to deliver focused 1:1 patient treatment and education
- Effective time management, leadership, and clear communication
- Comfort participating in or leading community and educational events
