Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team promptly
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of patient care and observations
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Support admissions, discharges, and care transitions with attention to detail
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required
- Willingness to commit to every-weekend coverage as part of the rotation
- Ability to provide proof of required credentials and complete facility onboarding
- Reliable personal transportation required for this assignment
- Flexible, professional attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Adherence to facility RTO policy; all RTO must be approved prior to contract approval
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and LPN certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Strong patient assessment and observation abilities
- Clear, concise clinical documentation and charting
- Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
- Time management and prioritization in a busy unit
- Comfortable with electronic health record systems and standard clinical workflows
