Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care following facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care activities clearly and timely in the resident chart or EMR
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and providers to support care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts (as applicable to the role)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet health screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred but not required
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN) or nursing program (RN) as applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Wound care basics and assistance with treatments
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or willingness to learn
- Observation and assessment skills to identify resident changes
- Good time management, organization, and interpersonal skills
