Shift Type: Sunday, Monday, Saturday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Document care in the resident chart and follow facility policies for accurate records
Collaborate with the care team to create a comfortable, safe environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — state certification required or eligible to obtain
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working early day shifts (5:00 AM start) and weekend coverage
Ability to pass required background checks and follow facility onboarding requirements
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort with resident hygiene, feeding assistance, and toileting support
Ability to take and chart vital signs and recognize basic changes in condition
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good communication and interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
