Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy exams across adult and pediatric populations
• Operate portable radiography and C-Arm equipment in surgical and mobile settings
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and document appropriately
• Position patients accurately for extremity, abdomen, spine and chest studies to ensure diagnostic-quality images
• Manage imaging workflows in PACS and complete patient documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with surgeons, technologists and interdisciplinary teams during procedures and intraoperative imaging
• Maintain strict radiation safety and infection control practices while delivering compassionate patient care
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage and provide reliable, professional support when needed

Qualifications

• Current Oregon state radiologic technologist license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of radiography experience in a large acute care hospital environment (experience at a facility similar to Providence Saint Vincent preferred)
• ARRT (Radiography) certification preferred
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting and PACS
• Comfortable with pediatric and neonatal patients is a plus (NICU/Pediatric experience preferred)
• Experience with OR/C-Arm procedures and portable imaging

Knowledge & Skills

• X-ray imaging, fluoroscopy and portable radiography skills
• C-Arm operation and intraoperative imaging
• Strong patient positioning for extremities, abdomen, spine and chest
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• PACS management and image workflow
• Epic charting experience
• Familiarity with GE, Philips and Carestream imaging equipment
• Experience with enema, barium and upper GI fluoroscopy studies
• Ability to work in adult and pediatric acute care, ICU and OR settings
