Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and toileting assistance
- Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and follow dietary instructions to promote resident nutrition
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans and maintain a safe environment
- Uphold infection control and facility policies to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
- Must have reliable own transportation
- Must have housing arrangements for the assignment
- Willingness to work both weekends when needed
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet health requirements
Education
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program and state LNA certification; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable performing direct resident care and personal care tasks
- Clear communication and documentation skills to keep the care team informed
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
- Basic infection control, safety awareness, and ability to follow care plans
- Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced long-term care setting
