Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care: assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility: assist with transfers and ambulation while using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to resident care plans
• Promote a clean, safe environment by following infection control and facility safety policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure individualized care
• Participate in shift handoffs and collaborate to create continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (state-appropriate) in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
• Reliable transportation and ability to secure housing (must provide own transportation and housing per facility notes)
• Willingness and ability to work both weekends when needed
• Successful completion of background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved Nurse Aide/LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Basic wound care observation and reporting
• Infection control practices and PPE use
• Clear documentation and electronic charting familiarity
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
