Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to promote independence
• Maintain patient dignity and comfort while supporting basic hygiene needs
• Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists, and family members about patient status
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
• Document care accurately and timely in patient charts

Qualifications

• Valid LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility guidelines
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/vaccinations
• Comfort with basic patient lifting and mobility assistance
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care fundamentals and infection control best practices
• Skill taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Clear communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary care team
• Basic charting and documentation skills
