Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
• Assist nursing staff with resident mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Document care and changes in condition clearly and professionally
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to support individualized care plans
• Follow facility policies and infection control procedures to keep residents safe
• Support a positive resident experience through kindness, patience, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (as required by state) in good standing
• Demonstrated experience providing direct resident care preferred
• Reliable transportation required (must have own vehicle)
• Ability to secure local housing independently for the assignment
• Willingness to work weekends as needed
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background check and any facility onboarding requirements
• Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current LNA/Licensed Nursing Assistant certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs and basic observations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes in condition promptly
