Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and observations
• Monitor and document patient status and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers and use of mobility aids to promote patient independence
• Support the care team by maintaining clean, organized patient environments
• Follow infection control practices and facility protocols to keep patients safe
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — VT or NH acceptable
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check and required immunizations
• Comfort working overnight shifts and functioning independently in a fast-paced setting
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus but not required

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care skills with attention to safety and dignity
• Basic clinical observation and accurate documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nurses
• Time management and adaptability across varied patient needs
