Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while preserving dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the clinical team
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care accurately and promptly in resident records
• Engage residents in social and therapeutic activities to promote quality of life

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable working with older adults and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Good observational skills to notice and report changes in resident condition
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and time management skills
