Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality evaluation and treatment plans for patients to maximize functional outcomes
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and adjust plans based on patient progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support patient goals
- Document patient progress accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with facility standards
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and injury prevention to promote long-term independence
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Maine or eligible for Maine licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s/Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with appropriate state licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in rehabilitation/physical therapy settings preferred; travel experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy acceptable with current licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in musculoskeletal assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Knowledge of mobility, balance, gait training, and functional restoration
- Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
- Ability to collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and therapists
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans to patient needs
