Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammograms and related mammography procedures with precision and compassion
• Operate and troubleshoot Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment safely and effectively
• Accurately document exams and patient interactions in EPIC to support excellent continuity of care
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity while delivering clear instructions and reassurance
• Collaborate with radiologists and the interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure high-quality imaging
• Adhere to safety standards, perform routine equipment checks, and escalate issues when needed
• Support clinic operations and occasionally float between Beacon Hill and Canyon Park to meet department needs
• Assist with charge or leadership duties when requested, sharing best practices with colleagues

Qualifications

• State mammography license in-hand required at time of signature (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an adult outpatient clinic required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) and ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred but not required
• Reliable personal transportation required (public transit not acceptable for this role)
• Open to non-local clinicians; candidates must state willingness to relocate for permanent hire if offered

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Mammography program
• ARRT Mammography certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to perform high-quality screening mammograms
• Familiarity with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX imaging systems
• Strong EPIC charting and documentation skills
• Patient-centered communication and positioning skills
• Attention to detail for safety, QC, and infection control
• Ability to float between clinic locations as needed and adapt to scheduling changes
