Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and promoting dignity
- Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting any changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility while following facility care plans
- Document care and observations thoroughly and legibly in the patient record
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent, resident-centered care
- Maintain infection control standards and follow facility policies to ensure resident safety
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification or T-LNA status as applicable
- Ability to start assignment on or by December 9, 2025
- Reliable own transportation and secured housing for the duration of the assignment
- Weekend availability and flexibility to cover shifts as needed
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Clean background check and required health screenings per facility policy
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved LNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and mobility support
- Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Solid documentation practices and attention to detail
- Infection control procedures and safe patient handling
- Time management skills to prioritize resident needs during shift
- Professional, empathetic communication with residents and families
