Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility and positioning to preserve dignity and safety
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care activities
• Support the clinical team by anticipating patient needs and communicating effectively
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential for VT or NH as required
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and reliable for scheduled coverage
• Able to pass background check and required facility onboarding
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Safe lifting, transfer techniques and use of assistive devices
• Infection control, hand hygiene and PPE use
• Documentation and charting in a timely, accurate manner
• Team communication and bedside manner with patients and families
