Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, ensuring dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to nursing staff promptly
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure meal preferences and dietary needs are respected
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification for VT or NH as required
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Comfort working overnight hours and in a fast-paced care environment
• Positive communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to complete background checks and standard onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State LNA certification or equivalent approved credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of safe resident handling and mobility support
• Familiarity with infection control and hygiene best practices
• Strong observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Ability to follow care plans and verbal/written instructions accurately
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience with residents
