Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Help with safe patient transfers and mobility assistance to prevent falls
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Accurately document care, vitals, and observations in the chart
• Support meal service and feeding assistance as needed
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Contribute to a positive resident experience through respectful, patient-centered interactions

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification for NH (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of immunizations and negative TB test per facility requirements
• Clean background check and ability to pass facility onboarding
• Strong communication skills and a caring, team-oriented attitude
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus but new grads are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Good documentation habits and attention to detail
• Able to work well within a nursing team and follow care plans
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to comfort patients and families
