Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, competent nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on the unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Document patient care, observations, and interventions clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support best outcomes
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and respectful care
• Follow facility policies and infection prevention protocols to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse credential (required)
• Travel LPN experience is a plus and appreciated
• Comfortable and reliable working the 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Ability to pass standard background checks and credential verifications
• Team player attitude with strong communication skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
• Patient assessment and basic clinical skills appropriate for LPN scope
• Familiarity with long-term care/rehab workflows (helpful for this site)
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and patient-centered communication
• Ability to use electronic charting systems and follow care plans
