Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility to preserve dignity and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately, keeping the care team informed
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that supports recovery and quality of life
• Document care and observations in the chart in a timely, professional manner
• Work closely with RNs, therapists and other staff to coordinate safe, effective care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Support admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential valid in Vermont or New Hampshire
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Compassionate bedside manner and solid communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment as part of a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and electronic charting
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Time management, teamwork and professional communication
