Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, days to be confirmed, day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Support nursing staff by monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition promptly
- Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Assist with mobility, transfers and safe use of assistive devices
- Document care accurately and courteously in resident records
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent required
- CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
- Experience working with elderly or long-term care residents is a plus
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and TB screening as required
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for resident care
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and elderly needs
- Skilled in ADLs, transfers and safe patient handling techniques
- Familiarity with documentation practices in long-term care settings
- Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
- Teamwork and collaboration with nursing and support staff
- Time management to balance resident needs and unit responsibilities
