Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition such as vital signs and behavior
• Assist licensed nursing staff with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Build rapport with patients and families to promote comfort, dignity, and trust

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential; NH or VT licensure acceptable
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and ability to work overnight shifts
• Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar healthcare setting is a plus
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Basic infection control practices and patient safety awareness
• Comfort with electronic charting or willingness to learn facility systems
