Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional abilities and needs through skilled evaluation
- Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans that restore independence
- Deliver hands-on occupational therapy and therapeutic activities
- Document patient progress clearly and timely to support quality outcomes
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care
- Provide patient and caregiver education to support carryover and safety
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Maine or eligible for state licensure
- NBCOT certification or equivalent credential preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtain upon hire
- Clinical experience in post-acute, rehab, or outpatient settings preferred
- Strong documentation skills and ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team
Education
- Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OT) for Occupational Therapist roles
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant for COTA roles (if applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activity analysis, ADL training, and therapeutic interventions
- Knowledge of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations
- Excellent clinical reasoning and patient-centered treatment planning
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and meeting documentation standards
