Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care to individuals in the Correctional Treatment Center (CTC)
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor and report patient status and any changes to nursing staff promptly
• Follow established safety and correctional facility protocols to maintain a secure environment
• Document care accurately and timely in resident records
• Collaborate with the care team to support treatment plans and patient goals

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Comfortable and professional working in a Correctional Treatment Center setting (CTC)
• Ability to work the listed schedule: Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care within the facility

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program or equivalent certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control practices and adherence to facility protocols
• Observation skills to identify changes in patient condition
• Professionalism and de-escalation skills appropriate for correctional healthcare
