Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage emergency patients rapidly and accurately to prioritize care
- Perform advanced nursing care including EKGs, central line monitoring, splinting and trauma assists
- Manage resuscitations and critical interventions using rapid infusers and advanced equipment
- Administer medications and safely operate infusion devices such as Alaris pumps
- Provide behavioral health de-escalation and safe patient management for BH presentations
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics and interdisciplinary staff to deliver seamless care
- Document patient care clearly and promptly in the MEDITECH electronic medical record
- Maintain patient ratios and safety standards in a fast-paced ED environment
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) credential (Texas RN or compact license as applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS preferred or required per unit policy
- Experience with trauma care, central line care and resuscitation
- Familiarity with MEDITECH or similar EMR is a plus
- CPI and prior behavioral health experience are preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing judgment and rapid assessment skills
- Proficiency with EKG interpretation and cardiac/trauma monitoring
- Experience using Alaris infusion pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers
- Comfort managing central lines and complex IV infusions
- Behavioral health de-escalation techniques and safe patient handling
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and communicate effectively under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues across shifts
