Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy and compassion
- Position patients correctly and apply appropriate exposure techniques for high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while strictly following infection control protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Complete required documentation and image archiving in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support patient-centered care
- Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing as required
Qualifications
- BLS certification (required)
- License/Certificate Verification (valid, verifiable radiology technologist credentials required)
- Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
- Meet facility personal health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Tdap, hepatitis B, influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, varicella, physical/health statement)
- Successful completion of Trinity respirator evaluation, fit test, 10-panel drug screen and color vision testing
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
- Familiarity with imaging equipment operation and routine quality checks
- Strong patient care skills and the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
- Understanding of safety, infection control, and radiation protection principles
- Comfort following facility protocols, checklists, and specialty competency requirements
- Ability to document procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
