Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical and dental procedures
• Provide safe anesthesia care across the lifespan — from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Perform thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively to ensure safe anesthetic delivery
• Provide airway management across the hospital when needed
• Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and participate in on-call coverage
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — active certification required
• Current, non-lapsed board certifications as applicable (candidates with lapsed board certification are not eligible)
• Experience providing regional and general anesthesia; comfortable with pediatric, geriatric and obstetrical cases
• Proven airway management skills and ability to respond in emergent situations
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR documentation
• Not a new graduate — prior clinical anesthesia experience required
• Willingness to work within a self-scheduling model and avoid commutes longer than one hour
• Locum or locum-to-perm candidates are not eligible

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge of regional and general anesthetic techniques
• Skilled in patient assessment and intra/postoperative monitoring
• Airway management expertise across a range of clinical scenarios
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR for accurate clinical documentation
• Effective team communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced hospital environment and respond to emergencies
• Flexibility to cover a variety of case types including dental and obstetrical anesthesia
