Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in the Casa Real area
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly report changes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
- Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication
- Maintain professional standards, follow facility protocols, and promote safety
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (New Mexico preferred)
- Local candidates only — must be able to commute to Santa Fe, NM
- Availability to start ASAP, within 2 weeks or less
- Comfortable working a 12+ hour day shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication, charting, and patient advocacy skills
Education
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or equivalent credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of LPN scope of practice and clinical nursing fundamentals
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Basic assessment and vital signs interpretation
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment while keeping patient safety first
- Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
