Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Per diem; days vary)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
- Monitor and accurately document vital signs and resident observations
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Communicate changes in condition to nursing staff and participate in care planning
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful interactions
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
- Comfort working night shifts and availability on a per-diem basis
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skillful assistance with ADLs and safe resident handling
- Basic vital signs assessment and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Good communication skills with residents, families, and clinical teams
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes clearly
