Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to patients with professionalism
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families about care plans and self-care
- Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment
- Respond calmly and effectively in urgent or emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program for LPNs
- Additional clinical training or continuing education encouraged
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Infection prevention and safety protocols
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
