Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with attention to safety and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
• Perform admission, transfer, and discharge procedures with professionalism
• Support patient education and encourage family involvement in care plans
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in compliance with facility standards
• Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse credential (LPN or RN)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Valid nursing license in good standing; ability to meet state licensure requirements
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and adapting to per diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and required health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program
• Completion of state-approved nursing education appropriate to LPN or RN practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
• Infection control, safety protocols, and patient advocacy
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
