Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, full-spectrum Family Medicine care to a diverse patient population
• Deliver patient-centered clinical care that emphasizes prevention, continuity, and whole-person health
• Empanel patients quickly and build sustained relationships that improve outcomes
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation alongside Family Medicine colleagues
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers in a physician-led environment
• Lead and contribute to development of patient care strategies that advance UCHealth’s mission
• Coordinate care with nearby lab and imaging services for timely, efficient diagnosis and treatment
• Engage in quality improvement and innovation efforts to make healthcare more accessible in the region

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board eligible (must finish residency) or board certified in Family Medicine
• Eligible for or holding an active Colorado medical license
• Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation with colleagues
• Comfort working in a team-based, physician-led practice with advanced practice providers
• No visa sponsorship available; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Not open to locum or locum-to-perm candidates

Education

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of Family Medicine residency

Knowledge & Skills

• Full-spectrum Family Medicine clinical skills with strong clinical decision-making
• Patient-centered approach and excellent bedside manner
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and supervising care plans
• Familiarity with lab and imaging workflows to support efficient patient care
• Understanding of productivity and practice management (wRVU/productivity-based care)
• Commitment to continuing medical education and evidence-based practice
