Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
• Conduct thorough interview-based evaluations to document medical history and functional impact
• Perform focused physical assessments when required, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Complete timely, accurate medical documentation and submit reports and any required addendums
• Follow client practice descriptions, policies, and required training to ensure consistent, high-quality exams
• Collaborate with administrative staff to schedule exams and maintain credentialing requirements
• Adhere to non-prescribing, non-treatment scope while providing objective medical evaluations

Qualifications

• MD or DO (Physician) with a background in general medicine
• Specialty training or experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is welcomed
• Experience or familiarity with Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments preferred
• Comfort with interview-based exams and focused physical assessments (range of motion, muscle strength testing)
• Ability to complete timely medical documentation and addendums
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and training prior to performing exams
• Providers using the 'own office' option must have an office within the required radius of the assignment
