Shift Type: Per diem / Variable days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift, per-diem schedule)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident observations
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care plans
- Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents at all times
Qualifications
- Active GNA or equivalent geriatric nursing assistant certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and safe patient handling techniques
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
- Previous long-term care or geriatric experience is a plus but not always required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and elder care best practices
- Basic vital sign measurement and charting skills
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes in resident condition
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and care teams
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
