Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents as a certified GNA
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report any changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and maintain timely records
- Support residents' emotional wellbeing through friendly interaction and meaningful engagement
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to follow individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Current CPR/AED certification preferred or as required by facility
- Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic clinical observations
- Skill in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Familiarity with infection control practices and documentation standards
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
- Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
