Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor overnight polysomnography studies with accuracy and compassion
- Set up, calibrate and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment to ensure high-quality recordings
- Continuously monitor patient safety and physiological parameters throughout the night
- Document study data and patient observations clearly and promptly in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support diagnosis and care
- Provide patient education and reassurance before, during and after the study
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized sleep lab environment and adhere to infection control practices
Qualifications
- Certified Sleep Lab Technologist or Licensed Sleep Lab Technologist — required
- Comfortable working a 3 x 12-hour night schedule and able to cover consecutive Saturdays as needed
- Strong patient care skills and the ability to respond calmly in overnight situations
- Familiarity with polysomnography equipment and sleep study workflows
- Professional communication skills for interacting with patients and clinical teams
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred (if applicable by client policy)
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited sleep technology program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of polysomnography procedures and scoring basics
- Ability to operate, calibrate and troubleshoot sleep lab monitoring equipment
- Skill in patient monitoring, physiological signal recognition, and infection control
- Clear documentation and charting skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to provide patient-centered care overnight
