Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 12-hour night shifts. Schedule includes weekends (must work at least 4 weekends per schedule period). 13-week travel assignment.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to NVICU patients, maintaining close attention to changes in condition
- Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamic support, and advanced ICU equipment
- Perform and support procedures common to the unit such as intubation, central line and arterial line care
- Participate in EVD patient care in collaboration with core staff and specialists
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech and communicate clear handoffs to the team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain safe patient ratios and prioritize patient safety in a fast-paced ICU environment
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience (NVICU or similar critical care experience preferred)
- ACLS certification required
- Meditech experience preferred
- Oncology and Neuro experience are a plus
- Comfortable with or experienced in intubation, central line and arterial line management, and EVD patient care
- Willingness to work night shifts and at least 4 weekends per schedule period; able to float to other ICUs/BMT/PCU floors
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation and orders
- Experience with ICU procedures: intubation support, central and arterial line care, EVD patient management
- Team-oriented communication and effective interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work independently in high-acuity situations while following unit policies and protocols
