Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and design individualized occupational therapy plans
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based OT interventions focused on activities of daily living
• Document patient encounters, progress, and plans in EPIC in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties to coordinate care
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery, independence, and safe discharge
• Maintain required health screenings, immunizations, and licensure verification

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure (state verification required)
• BLS certification required
• Experience using EPIC strongly preferred
• Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and Trinity skills checklist as part of onboarding
• Ability to pass required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB testing or IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Tdap, influenza, varicella, respirator/fit testing)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills for ADLs, mobility, and functional limitations
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic health records (EPIC)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Sound clinical reasoning to develop and adjust treatment plans
• Time management and organization to handle caseload and documentation requirements
