Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiac cath lab environment and equipment for safe, efficient procedures
• Assist interventional cardiology teams during PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR and neuro cases
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips and Siemens imaging equipment during cases
• Document procedural details in Meditech and MacLab accurately and promptly
• Ensure radiation safety and perform required panning x-ray table duties
• Mentor and educate junior staff and students to build a stronger unit
• Respond to on-call activations quickly and provide calm, competent support in urgent situations

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• RCIS required, including competency with panning x-ray table
• BLS and ACLS current certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional setting
• Interventional experience required; EP and neuro experience preferred
• Comfortable working with Philips and Siemens imaging systems and EMR systems like Meditech and MacLab

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab workflows and sterile technique
• Experience with interventional cardiology procedures: PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI
• Familiarity with IR and neuro procedural support
• Competence using Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
• Documentation skills in Meditech and MacLab
• Excellent communication, team teaching, and situational awareness in high-acuity settings
