Roles & Responsibilities

• Support cardiac catheterization, EP and IR procedures by preparing and maintaining cath lab equipment and supplies
• Monitor patients closely during procedures and maintain 1:1 patient care when required
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using Meditech and MacLab
• Assist physicians and the cardiac team during interventions and respond to changes in patient condition
• Maintain sterile technique, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure procedural safety standards are met
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond professionally to urgent procedure needs
• Collaborate with nurses, techs and unit staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• CVL Tech certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience (Cath procedures required)
• EP experience preferred
• Certifications such as CVT, RCIS, and/or RT are a plus
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and adaptable to a fast-paced procedural unit
• Prior travel assignment experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with cardiac cath lab equipment and supplies
• Experience documenting in Meditech and MacLab systems
• Skilled in Cath, EP and IR procedural workflows
• Strong patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain sterile field
• Clear communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
