Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures with attention to sterile technique
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and procedural equipment during cases
• Circulate in the cath lab to anticipate team needs and maintain efficiency
• Set up and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment to support procedural flow
• Participate reliably in on-call coverage and respond promptly when needed
• Complete Trinity skills checklist and specialty-specific competency testing as required
• Maintain required health clearances and certifications to ensure patient and team safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiac catheterization / cath lab or similar vascular procedural area
• CVT or Rad Tech discipline required (Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist)
• RCIS or RT(R) certification preferred (listed as certifications but not strictly required)
• BLS certification required
• Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local travelers allowed)
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (one night per week and one weekend per month)
• Must complete Trinity specialty competency testing and license/certificate verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during cardiac and vascular procedures
• Familiarity with cardiac catheterization lab workflow and instrumentation
• Strong situational awareness and ability to anticipate procedural needs
• Effective communication with physicians, nurses, and peri-procedural team members
• Ability to perform and document competency checklists and specialty testing
• Commitment to infection control, sterile technique, and patient safety
