Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to adult and pediatric surgical patients
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical instrumentation for a variety of procedures
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures with focus and precision
- Monitor patient status, document care and communicate changes promptly to the team
- Perform surgical counts, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and contribute to a culture of safety
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and perioperative staff to coordinate efficient patient flow
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education and handoffs
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active license in Colorado or compact RN licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- Comfortable with perioperative instrumentation and sterile technique
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- CNOR certification or perioperative specialty training is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Perioperative nursing principles and sterile technique
- Surgical instrumentation familiarity and setup
- Intraoperative patient monitoring and assessment
- Effective documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) use
- Strong situational awareness and ability to prioritize in fast-paced OR settings
- Clear, professional communication with multi-disciplinary teams
