Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends (day, evening, and night shifts); 40 hours per week. Specific start/end times vary by assignment
Hours per Week: 32
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a long term care setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and document observations accurately
- Support safe transfers and mobility while promoting resident dignity and independence
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members to coordinate care
- Follow facility policies for infection control and resident safety at all times
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Must be certified via Prometric Hawaii (Prometric Hawaii certification required)
- Ability to work every weekend and participate in rotating shifts
- Comfortable working in a Long Term Care (LTC) environment
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong teamwork skills
Education
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Prometric Hawaii certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of long term care best practices and resident-centered care
- Skill in assistance with ADLs, transfers, and mobility support
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong observation skills and the ability to report changes clearly
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
- Awareness of infection control procedures and safety protocols
