Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to oncology and surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely, following oncology protocols
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Perform and assist with unit procedures such as pelvic exams, echo and thoracentesis as needed
- Support patient and family education, especially around treatment plans and discharge
Qualifications
- Current RN license (required) — active and in good standing
- CNA license acceptable for some roles as noted; see hiring profile
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (Oncology experience preferred)
- Chemo certification preferred but not required
- Comfortable using Cerner EMR
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical oncology nursing and patient-centered care
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record systems
- Strong assessment, critical thinking and triage skills
- Familiarity with oncology meds and infusion safety (chemo certification a plus)
- Teamwork and clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Ability to manage typical med-surg unit equipment and patient ratios (1:4–1:5)
