Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiology procedures using prescribed techniques, adjusting equipment and parameters for accurate imaging
- Position patients and prepare rooms and contrast materials to ensure safe, efficient exams
- Administer contrast and monitor patients as required, following safety protocols
- Conduct routine quality control tasks and document results to maintain high imaging standards
- Clean and maintain imaging rooms and equipment daily to ensure a safe environment
- Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and general office duties to keep the department running smoothly
- Perform diagnostic testing and basic maintenance on imaging equipment to support uninterrupted care
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff
- Participate in call assignments and team collaborations to meet patient needs
Qualifications
- Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA-approved program
- ARRT registration required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) with CT certification
- MRI experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to relocate to a rural area

- Patient positioning and comfort techniques
- Contrast administration and patient monitoring
- Imaging equipment operation and routine maintenance

- Quality control procedures and documentation
- Patient scheduling and front-office coordination
