Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on emergency department and trauma patients with precision and compassion
• Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate closely with trauma and ED teams to prioritize patient care in critical situations
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records for each exam
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols and applying Basic Life Support when needed
• Assist with equipment upkeep and report any technical issues promptly
• Uphold infection control practices and protect patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) (CT) certification required
• ODH Radiologic Technologist License required
• Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required (AHA only)
• Preferred: One year of CT experience, trauma center or Emergency Department CT experience a plus
• Able to sit and stand for extended periods and push/pull up to 50 lbs

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging and radiologic technology fundamentals
• Patient care in an emergency and trauma setting
• Ability to work calmly in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff
• Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
• Familiarity with trauma protocols and emergency imaging workflows
