Shift Type: Night shift, Daily (7 days/week), 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight); unit coverage notes: 1 tech on-site 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 1 tech on-site 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams with patient-focused care and accuracy
- Operate and maintain GE CT, GE X-Ray and portable X-Ray equipment safely and proficiently
- Administer and manage contrast injectors (Bayer Med-Rad) following protocols
- Acquire and route images using Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS with attention to detail
- Collaborate with ED and hospital staff to prioritize urgent imaging needs
- Document procedures and patient information clearly and promptly in the EMR
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards to protect patients and staff
- Provide calm, compassionate communication to patients and families during imaging
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) (CT) required
- Minimum 2 years of CT/radiology tech experience
- Experience with GE CT and portable X-Ray preferred
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts while being a strong team player
- Familiarity with Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS strongly preferred
- Ability to float to Hospital ED when needed and adapt to unit needs
- Professional appearance; black scrubs required per unit dress code
Education
- ARRT (R) (CT) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in CT and X-ray imaging techniques and protocols
- Proficient with GE CT equipment and portable X-Ray systems
- Experienced using Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS for image management
- Knowledge of contrast administration (Bayer Med-Rad injector) and safety
- Strong patient care, communication and triage judgement in ED settings
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to collaborate in a fast-paced unit
