Shift Type: Rotating nights, 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; 6 days on / 7 days off rotation; every 3rd weekend; minimal on-call (scheduled about once every 15 weeks)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging using Siemens scanners to produce diagnostic images clinicians rely on
• Operate and document procedures in Epic EMR, ensuring accurate patient records and smooth handoffs
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff
• Position patients and select appropriate CT protocols and parameters for optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support timely diagnoses and patient care
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, report issues, and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Provide clear, compassionate patient education to reduce anxiety and improve the exam experience

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) registration in the appropriate specialty — required
• State of Ohio Radiology License — required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — required
• Experience with Siemens CT systems and Epic EMR — required
• Comfortable working night shifts and a 6 days on / 7 days off rotation with every 3rd weekend
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and contrast administration knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment and its workflows
• Experience documenting and navigating Epic EMR
• Solid understanding of radiation safety, quality assurance, and infection control
• Ability to troubleshoot routine equipment and image quality issues
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
