Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic procedures using prescribed techniques and protocols
- Prepare rooms, position patients, and handle contrast materials safely and professionally
- Maintain quality control by completing required QC tasks and documentation
- Clean and maintain imaging rooms and equipment daily to ensure patient safety
- Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and other general office duties as needed
- Perform routine diagnostic testing and basic equipment maintenance
- Adhere to radiation protection practices to minimize exposure for patients and staff
- Participate in on-call assignments and provide reliable patient care coverage
Qualifications
- Completion of formal radiologic technologist training from an AMA‑approved program
- ARRT registration required
- CT certification and a minimum of 6 months of CT experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- MRI experience/certification preferred but not required
- Willingness to relocate to and work in a rural area
Education
- Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA‑approved program

- Patient positioning and compassionate patient care
- Radiation protection principles and safe imaging practices
- CT image acquisition and contrast preparation
- Quality control procedures and documentation
- X-ray imaging fundamentals and radiologic technologist workflows
- Basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- Patient scheduling and clear communication skills
