Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday-Monday, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Thursday-Friday-Saturday, 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC. Rotating schedule including day and night shifts and weekend coverage.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate the Philips Brilliance 64 CT scanner to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer IV contrast safely and accurately under NYS injection authorization
- Document exams and patient data in Epic (EMR) and manage images in PACS (Synapse)
- Collaborate with ED and inpatient teams to prioritize and complete urgent imaging
- Perform patient assessment, positioning, and radiation safety checks for every exam
- Maintain equipment readiness, complete required Trinity competency testing, and follow department protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to reduce anxiety and improve outcomes
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- New York State license with IV injection privileges required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience, including emergency/inpatient scanning
- Hands-on experience with Philips Brilliance 64 strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic (EMR) and PACS (Synapse) required or strongly preferred
- Ability to complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty competency testing
- Current immunizations and ability to pass facility-required health screens and 10-panel drug screen
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist/CT program and ARRT registration
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration, and patient safety
- Skilled in Epic documentation and PACS image management (Synapse)
- Strong patient assessment and IV injection technique
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient environment
- Good communication, teamwork, and the ability to prioritize urgent studies
- Familiarity with radiation protection principles and quality control procedures
